Aesop Click & Collect – Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. The Service (Reserve Online, Pay in Store)

1.1 Aesop offers a Click & Collect service at participating Aesop Signature Stores in the United Kingdom. This service allows you to reserve products online via the Website for collection and payment at your nominated store.

1.2 By using this service, you acknowledge that your online request constitutes a reservation only. Notwithstanding Clause 4.3 and Clause 12.3 of the General E-Commerce Terms of Sale, a legally binding contract for the purchase of the products is only concluded when you provide payment in full at the nominated Aesop Signature Store.

2. Reservation Identification and Proof

2.1 Upon successful submission of a reservation, you will be provided with an 8-digit order number.

2.2 To collect your reservation, you must present your ‘Order is Ready to Collect’ email (digital or printed) and the 8-digit order number. Aesop reserves the right to withhold products if this 8-digit number cannot be produced at the point of collection.

3. Availability and Collection Timeframes

3.1 Reservations are fulfilled using the live inventory of the selected Aesop Signature Store.

3.2 Estimated availability for collection:
· Reservations placed before 3:00 PM: Typically available for collection the same day.
· Reservations placed after 3:00 PM: Typically available for collection the next working day.

3.3 Please do not travel to the store until you have received your ‘Order is Ready to Collect’ email. All timeframes provided are estimates only.

4. Collection and Holding Period

4.1 Your reserved products will be held in the Aesop Store for a maximum of seven (7) calendar days from the date the ‘Order is Ready to Collect’ email is sent.

4.2 If the products are not collected and paid for within this seven (7) day period, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and the items returned to the store's saleable stock. As no payment is processed online, no refund process (as described in Clause 5 of the General E-Commerce Terms of Sale) shall apply for non-collected items.

5. Prices and Payment

5.1 The prices displayed at the time of reservation are inclusive of VAT. Notwithstanding Clause 6.3 of the General Terms, no payment is taken or authorised on the Website at the time of reservation.

5.2 Payment must be made in full at the nominated Aesop Store at the point of collection.

6. Cancellation and Returns

6.1 You may cancel your reservation at any time prior to collection by contacting the nominated store directly.

6.2 As the contract of sale is concluded in-store, your purchase is subject to the Aesop Retail Return Policy. Notwithstanding Clause 5 of the General E-Commerce Terms of Sale, products purchased via Click & Collect may be returned or exchanged at any Aesop Signature Store within the United Kingdom. Products should not be returned via post to L'Oréal’s registered address.

6.3 To process a return or exchange, you must present the original retail receipt issued at the time of in-store payment.

6.4 All returns remain subject to the hygiene and sealing exclusions set out in Clause 5 of the General E-Commerce Terms of Sale.

7. Samples and Complimentary Services

7.1 At the point of collection, and subject to local store availability and the Consultant’s discretion, you may be provided with a personalised sample selected to accompany your reservation.

7.2 At the point of collection, and subject to local store availability, your carry-bag may be spritzed with an Aesop fragrance of your choice.
