While we cater to the skin, hair, and body, this has typically meant the skin, hair and body of people only. An offensive omission, no doubt, for the avowed animal lovers among you. To remedy this shameful oversight, we have created Animal – an aromatic wash that is gentle on skin yet tough on mud, crud and other undesirable debris, extending our philosophy of efficacious, sensorial care to pets.
As a celebration of Animal – and, indeed, the animals that will be bathed in its enlivening blend of essential oils – we have created the Aesop Paw Parlour, a grooming experience available at select stores. In a considerate moment of care for canines, expert groomers will be waiting dog-basin-side with Animal wash to provide soothing paw cleanses; each dog that trots into a Paw Parlour will be offered a Polaroid portrait, locally sourced biscuits and a custom bandana – which may well find its way onto a human neck.
Animal wash is not currently available in the UK, EU, or New York state. We do, however, hope to make it available in these regions soon.
